Function: B15 reduces the organism's oxygen demand and the formation of lactic acid in the working muscles and thus has significance for all oxygen-consuming functions. It protects against carbon monoxide poisoning and increases the blood's capacity to carry oxygen. It stimulates the nervous and glandular functions and is essential o fat metabolism. It reduces the need for alcohol.
Consequences of failure and therapeutic use: Circulatory disease that raises blood cholesterol, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular calcification, disturbances in heart rhythm and gangrene. Also used in liver disorders, muscular disorders, sexual disorders, cancers, alcohol and drug abuse.
Recommended daily dose: Not a solid team, but the need is probably about 50 mg.
Therapeutic dosage: 100-300 mg.
Symptoms of overdose: Unknown.
